- explain the importance and role of research ethics in research enterprise

-  describe and  use  relevant concepts in research methods

- apply the basic ethical requirements in research

 - identify the purpose and function of research ethics committee

 - describe and use relevant concepts in research ethics while using laboratory animals

- understand the  meaning of research misconduct and learn how to avoid it
