1-Urodynamics Training Course
Course includes lectures on basics of
urodynamic study and neurophysiology of the urinary tract. This is followed by
hands on training on the different test components (2-3 cases) with demonstration
of how to perform the test and interpretation of results. The training includes a practical session for orientation
on urodynamic room and equipment set up, demonstration of the basic urodynamic test components:: uroflowmetry, pressure/flow study, ,urethral pressure profilometry (UPP) and electromyography (EMG)

2-Transrectal Ultrasound of the Genital Tract
(TRUS)
Course includes lectures and
hands on training . By the
end of this program the participant should be able to: understand the basic physics of
ultrasonography, study the ultrasonographic anatomy of the male genital tract
and performing transrectal ultrasound
with biopsies.
Duration: 1 Month

3-Lower Endoscopy
Course includes theoretical
background on endoscopic anatomy of urethra and bladder with instruments
demonstration & videos. Second day includes OR demonstration

4-Transurethral Resection on Monitor
(TURT/TURP)
Course
includes theoretical background and hands-on training using simulators
loaded with an apple. Second day
includes operating room (OR) demonstration using monitors. Lectures include:
evolution of the technique of TUR, basics of instruments and video
session.

5- Ureteroscopy
Course
includes a theoretical background on instruments (semi- rigid
and flexible), procedure step by step and management of complications with
video session and hands-on training using simulators. The second day includes
practical OR demonstration with hands -on training.

6-Percutaneous
Nephrolithotripsy (PCNL)
Course includes theoretical background
on instruments , procedure step by step, management of complications, PCNL in
special situations (children, supine, tubeless and anomalies of kidney), with video session and hands on training using
simulators. The second day includes OR demonstration with hands on training.

7--Open
Surgery for Stone Disease
Course includes a theoretical overview of
stone disease. OR demonstration and guidelines for management
of stone disease.
Duration: 2 Months

8-Oncosurgery in Urology course
Course includes lectures on radical cystectomy with nerve sparing , radical cystectomy
in female and types of continent diversions Course includes attendance of operative cases of radical cystectomy with several types of diversions

9-Laparoscopy in Urology
Course includes history of laparoscopy, basic instruments, insufflants,
management of complication, video sessions showing basic technique and hands on
training using pelvitrainers . Course includes OR demonstrations of
minor procedure (e.g varicocelectomy)
